Again this year, the Grade 7 French Immersion and Integrated Core French classes will be taking part in a three-day French Immersion camp at Université Sainte-Anne in Pointe-de-l’Église (Church Point), Nova Scotia.
 

The objectives of this trip are:

1.    to provide an opportunity for students to be totally immersed in French;

2.    to provide a cultural awareness of francophone communities in Nova Scotia;

3.    to provide an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of the French language in authentic situations (listening and speaking);

4.    to deeper students’ understanding on how language and culture are interconnected.
 

The trip will take place between Monday, May 2nd and Wednesday, May 4th, 2016.
 

The cost for the trip will be $250.00.  This includes transportation by bus, lodging at the university, food, sports activities, entertainment, etc.  This experience has traditionally been very beneficial and enjoyable for the students in our French Immersion and Integrated French programs.  We hope your son/daughter will be able to participate.
 

There will be two methods of payment: one full payment on or before April 15, 2016, or three payments of $150.00, $50.00, and $50.00 respectively on March 9, March 30, and April 13, 2016.  All cheques are to be made payable to your child’s school.
