Harold T. Barrett Junior High distributes academic awards at the end of each reporting period to students who meet the following criteria:

• Principals List: Students who have a 95 % average or higher with no mark below a 80 % during the term
   
• High Honors List: Students who have a 90 % average with no mark below an 80 % during the term
   
• Honors List: Student who have a 80 % average with no maek below a 70 % during the term
   
• Perfect Attendance:Student who attends all classes during the term
